Canoeing Expedition

  •     Solar Richmond, Richmond, CA. Designed, coordinated and conducted team building workshop for job trainees and staff.
  •      ETR Associates, Santa Cruz, CA. Cultural and Community Project. Designed and implemented adventure challenge curriculum involving 75 students. In addition, facilitated course instruction and staff training. 
  •        San Jose State University, San Jose, CA. Graduate program in Education and Leadership Development. Designed and coordinated day-long outdoor/experiential education seminar for 50 graduate students. 
  •        County Office of Education, Santa Cruz, CA. Provided team building, orientation training for teachers and day-long team building workshop for at-risk students. 
  •        Empire Gardens Elementary School, San Jose, CA. Designed and implemented three-day summer school environmental science project-Coyote Creek Census Project, involving 300 students. 
  •        Public Allies, San Jose, CA. Instructed a staff development training involving team work and problem-solving initiatives for both able and disabled staff. 
  •        Sherman Oaks Elementary, San Jose, CA. Conducted leadership development training for teachers and team building semester workshop for students. 
  •      Community Action Board, Santa Cruz, CA. Conducted year-end's board retreat training. Enhanced board's success by assisting the director and board members to revise the mission statement and re-align organizational goals.        
  • Gear-Up Program: Sponsored by San Jose State University Research Foundation, San Jose, CA.
  • EMQ Family First, Social Services Agency, Campbell, CA. Collaborated with program supervisors to design and conduct a 6-week summer adventure-program for high-school students.
  •  Camp Odyssey, Portland, OR. Facilitated day-long youth leadership workshops for 300 high school students, involving team building and problem-solving initiatives.
  •  American Leadership Forum, Portland, OR. Co-instructed two residential, five-days Corporate Wilderness Programs involving 50 local area executives.
  • Robert White School, Boston, MA. Wrote grant for the creation of adventure-based program and developed school leadership curriculum.
  • Discovery Academy, Boston, MA. Public school. Designed and implemented year's end Outdoor Education overnight field trip. Developed science and adventure-based curriculum. 
  • Southwest Corridor Community Farm, Jamaica Plains, MA. Designed and constructed low-element challenge ropes course. 
  • Hale Reservation, Westwood, MA. Instructed challenge ropes course and environmental science lessons.
