Theme Workshop: A Team Assessment Exercise. Students participated in a thematic adventure-based training workshop with focus on a multi-disciplinary learning environment where students learned to role-play a consulting scenario of real world's problem solving, development, assessment and presentation. Students were also engaged in various discussion topics: adventure-based education, community development, resilient learners, and therapeutic recreation. The skills that are emphasized and nurtured during the workshop will directly impact the students in their future work. "The workshop's activities provided the participants with the opportunity and experience to demonstrate self-awareness, sensitivity to others, skillfulness in relating to individuals and groups, the ability to facilitate group-process and mediate conflicts, knowledge of multi-disciplinary teams, teamwork, team building and skills in functioning as a team member" - Dr. Dolores Mena
